The solution is to call `stream.push(null)` to trigger the `end` event
which allows `getRawBody` to run completely.

The behaviour of edge-function-runtime in the case of an error was not
identical to the edge-runtime.
If a type other than "Uint8Array" is written to the Response stream a
unhandledreject is raised and logged.
The current implementations(nodejs) accepts also Buffers and Strings
which causes that a Application
Developer things our stream implementation is broken if it is executed
as worker.
We introduced a helper function to consume the response stream and write
the "Uint8Array" stream chunks
to the server implementation. Due to the complication that the error
side effect is emitted via the unhandledrejection
handler it is almost impossible to test --- jest does not allow testing
of the unhandlerejections.
We tested extendsiveliy the helper in the edge-runtime so that this PR
integrates just the consuming function.

This corrects some unhandledRejection errors showing when a connection is canceled with the edge runtime since the changes needed for 14463ddd10. This also adds a regression test to ensure we don't have these class of errors in our middleware tests.

This PR updates the Edge Runtime to use a new version that loads dependencies differently. This addresses https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/38766 so `instanceof` works as expected.
It involved a few code changes, mostly regarding to types. The most important change is that the `Runner` function in the sandbox doesn't take a `ReadableStream` as `body` anymore since this implies creating the instance on "node land" and makes the runtime `fetch` function not to be able to compare with `ReadableStream` using `instanceof`. Instead we introduce a "clonable body" abstraction that allows to create the `ReadableStream` from `Readable` by using the edge runtime primitive which would hold the correct prototype.
Also, this PR changes the way we pre-compile the Edge Runtime to adapt it to the new version.

* Re-introduce Edge API Endpoints
This reverts commit 210fa39961, and
re-introduces Edge API endpoints as a possible runtime selection in API
endpoints.
This is done by exporting a `config` object:
```ts
export config = { runtime: 'edge' }
```
Note: `'edge'` will probably change into `'experimental-edge'` to show
that this is experimental and the API might change in the future.

This PR introduces [Edge Runtime](https://edge-runtime.vercel.app/) for emulating [Edge Functions](https://vercel.com/features/edge-functions) locally.
Every time you run a [middleware](https://nextjs.org/docs/advanced-features/middleware) locally via `next dev`, an isolated edge runtime context will be created.
These contexts have the same constraints as production servers, plus they don't pollute the global scope; Instead, all the code run in a vm on top of a Node.js process.
Additionally, `@edge-runtime/jest-environment` has been added to make easier testing Edge Functions in a programmatic way.
It dropped the following polyfills from Next.js codebase, since they are now part of Edge Runtime:
- abort-controller
- formdata
- uuid
- web-crypto
- web-streams

Wait for reading original request body before overwriting the request properties with `originalBody?.finalize()` call since it caused the problem when middleware does not read request body

This PR brings back @Schniz awesome contribution to bring in bodies to middleware. It was reverted to leave it out of the stable release and to have some time to test it out in canary before officially releasing it. This PR is simply a `cherry-pick` of his original work.
