fix(#37981): handle legacy link behavior with number type children (#38013)
## Bug

Fixes #37981.

When handling the legacy link behavior on the current version of Next.js, it only wraps single string child in `<a>` tag. The PR fixes the issue by also wrap single number child in `<a>` tag, too.

Add experimental next/future/image component (#37927)
This PR introduces a new experimental component, `next/future/image`, which is inspired by the existing experimental `layout="raw"`.

The difference is that much of the code has been deleted in order to reduce client-side code as well as reduce complexity:

- No `layout` prop
- No `loader` config (although `loader` prop works)
- No `IntersectionObserver`, use native `loading="lazy"`
  - No `lazyBoundary`
  - No `lazyRoot`
- No `fill` (yet) so width & height are required
- No `objectFit` (use `style` instead)
- No `objectPosition` (use `style` instead)

This improves performance because native `loading="lazy"` doesn't need to wait for React Hydration and client-side JS.

In a future PR, we will modify `next/image` to remove `layout="raw"` since this new component supersedes it.

Add hard navigation guard and fix middleware rewrite cases (#37815)
This adds a guard for whenever we do a hard navigation over a client-navigation to ensure we aren't redirecting to the same URL that we are currently on as this can cause infinite redirecting. This also fixes some cases with middleware rewrites without i18n enabled and expands our middleware suite to test both with i18n and without.

This also fixes a race condition with the query updating where a user could attempt a route transition and it then gets overridden by the query updating and prevents firing router events during the query updating as these can be false signals of a transition.

Display full refresh warning even when error has occurred (#37425)
If you end up in a state where an error happened and you also should be warned about a full refresh - you get stuck. The full refresh is blocked by the warning but the error is shown instead.

Tests didn't catch this because the refresh warning never showed in `__NEXT_TEST_MODE`.

Use SVG blur technique for raw layout images (#37022)
This PR switches to using an SVG filter for blurring placeholder images, rather than a CSS filter. It's based on the technique described in @cramforce's [blog post](https://www.industrialempathy.com/posts/image-optimizations/#blurry-placeholder).

One change I made to @cramforce's version was to increase the stdDeviation property of the SVG (which controls the gaussian blur strength) from .5 to 50. Smaller values than this tended to look bad, as our technique for generating the blurry placeholder image tends to produce images with sharp contrast between the pixels, which looks bad when blown up unless it's blurred by a substantial amount.

This PR currently only affects the experimental `layout="raw"` but I expect to eventually apply it to all images. CC: @styfle @kara

Add images.unoptimized: true for easy next export (#37698)
In a previous PR (#19032), we added a hard error during `next export` if the default Image Optimization API is being used because it requires a server to optimized on demand. The error message offers several different solutions but it didn't consider that by the time someone runs `next export`, they are probably done writing their app.

So if `next export` is a hard requirement, the quickest path forward is to disable Image Optimization API. So this PR adds a new configuration option to `next.config.js`:

```js
module.exports = {
  images: {
    unoptimized: true
  }
}
```

### Update
Upon further discussion, we might want to avoid doing this just for images and instead introduce a top-level config to indicate export is coming and then handle errors or warn for [unsupported features](https://nextjs.org/docs/advanced-features/static-html-export#unsupported-features).

```
module.exports = {
  nextExport: true
}
```

Migrate head side effects to hooks (#37526)
* rewrite head side effects component in hooks
* remove mapping from element to children in head manager since they're already the children of `<Head>`

When move `SideEffect` to hooks, the effects scheduling is earlier than life cycle. We're leverage layout effects and effects at the same time, always cache the latest head updating function in head manager in layout effects, and flush them in the effects. This could help get rid of the promises delaying approach in head manager.

add method to measure Interaction to Next Paint (INP) (#36490)
This commit lets users measure their Interaction to Next Paint [INP](https://web.dev/inp/) web vital.
Note that the `web-vitals` package is beta to denote that INP is an experimental metric, the code is stable and v3 is backwards compatible.

    `web-vitals` CHANGELOG for v3:

    - [BREAKING] Report TTFB after a bfcache restore
    - [BREAKING] Only include last LCP entry in metric entries
    - Add support for the new INP metric
    - Rename getXXX() functions to onXXX()
    - Add a navigationType property to the Metric object

    See https://github.com/GoogleChrome/web-vitals/blob/next/CHANGELOG.md

Upgraded `playwright-chromium` from `1.14.1` to `1.17.2` because the Events Timing API used to measure INP is only available in Chromium >= v98.

Use deterministic module IDs in the client bundle (#37249)
Another strategy to do achieve the goal of #36995. With this PR the module IDs will be:
- (1) RSC: named (_this one doesn't matter_)
- (2) SSR: named
- (3) Client: deterministic

And we include the client module IDs in the flight manifest, as well as an extra mapping of 3) → 2) so during SSR it can require the correct module still.

Use customized chunk loading implementation (#37163)
Follow-up PR for #37134, this PR adds back the hash in each chunk's filename. This `chunks` in the flight manifest will now be `chunkId:chunkFilename` with this PR, and `globalThis.__next_chunk_load__` then handles the chunk registration (uses chunkId) and chunk loading (uses chunkFilename). (Q: how can we port this to React?)

We can't use `[contenthash]` but only `[chunkhash]` because at the stage of generating the flight manifest, the content isn't finalized and the hash changes after that.

## Bug

Please review this PR.

As shown in [this Issue](https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/36807), the noscript element does not render sizes correctly during SSR.
This change adds `noscriptSizes` to the props passed to `ImageElement` to generate the same `sizes` and `srcset` as the normal img tag that is actually rendered in the browser.

Keep custom app as non server component (#37044)
We added custom _app as server component support in #33149, but we found it's pretty confusing on usage like support it both server component pages and regular pages at the same time for having similar layout purpose.
When using the _app.server and _app at the same time, applying them into proper places become more confusing.
In that case, we decide to make _app.js can't be a server component, and you can still keep all the existing thing there. And also you don't need to think of the corresponding APIs of custom _app in RSC

Change experimental layout=raw to use native img lazy loading (#36985)
This PR changes the experimental `layout=raw` images to use the native lazy loading behavior (as opposed to the IntersectionObserver).

This will (eventually) lead to smaller client bundles and faster image loading since there is no JS needed to load the image.

However, we'll lose the `lazyRoot` and `lazyBoundary` behavior since those are specific to the IntersectionObserver implementation.

for flush effects api: other css-in-js libs are not using the same approach like styled-jsx which holding a style registry and could flush it during streaming. emotion-js and styled-components are still relying on `Document.getInitialProps` atm and we have supported it in latest canary

Add experimental wildcard remotePatterns config for upstream images (#36245)
## Description
This PR implements a new configuration object in `next.config.js` called `experimental.images.remotePatterns`.

This will eventually deprecate `images.domains` because it covers the same use cases and more by allowing wildcard pattern matching on `hostname` and `pathname` and also allows restricting `protocol` and `port`.

Fix various Trusted Types violations without use of policy (#34726)

## Documentation
There are three Trusted Types violations that are fixed in this PR:
### 1. ban-element-innerhtml-assignments: maintain--tab-focus.ts
The innerHTML assignment here is unsafe as a string is being used that could contain an XSS attack. The solution chosen was to replace the string containing HTML with programmatically-created DOM elements. This removes the Trusted Types violation as there is no longer a string passed in that can contain an XSS attack.

Notes on solution:
- The `<svg>` tag is omitted completely since the original snippet returns fragment.firstChild.firstChild. The first firstChild omits the `<div>`, and the second firstChild omits the `<svg>`, so to remove unnecessary code the created elements start at the foreignObject level.
- The reason createElementNS is used instead of createElement is because the ‘foreignObject’ element is a separate namespace from the default HTML elements. The documentation for this command is found [here](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Document/createElementNS).

The code was tested to be equivalent by rendering both the original code and the re-written code in a browser to see if they evaluate to the same thing in the DOM. The DOM elements styles were then compared to ensure that they were identical.

### 2. ban-window-stringfunctiondef: packages/next/lib/recursive-delete.ts
The setTimeout function caused a Trusted Types violation because if a string is passed in as the callback, XSS can occur. The solution to this problem is to ensure that only function callbacks can be passed to setTimeout. There is only one call to the sleep function and it does not involve a string callback, so this can be enforced without breaking the application logic. In the process of doing this, promisify has been removed and the promise has been created explicitly.

The code was tested in a sample application to ensure it behaved as expected.

### 3. ban-window-stringfunctiondef: packages/next/client/dev/fouc.ts
This file also uses setTimeout, so the call was wrapped in a `safeSetTimeout` call that specifies that the callback argument is not a string.

## Documentation
There is one tsec violation that is fixed in this PR:
### 1. ban-script-src-assignment: route-loader.ts
XSS can occur with the line script.src = src in appendScript(src, script) if src can be controlled by a malicious user. From tracing through the code, it was determined that src comes from the function `getFilesForRoute(route)`. The behaviour of this function differs depending on the environment (development vs. production), but in both cases the function will construct strings that lead to valid file paths. These strings depend on two variables: `assetPrefix` and `route`, but due to the nature of the constructed strings it was determined that the scripts here are safe to use. Thus, the solution was to promote these strings to `TrustedScriptURL`s. This is the Trusted Types way of declaring that the script URL passed to the DOM sink is safe from DOM XSS attacks.

To create a `TrustedScriptURL`, a policy needs to be created. This policy was put in its own file: `client/trusted-types.ts`. This policy has the name `nextjs`. If this name should be changed to something else, feel free to change it now. However, once it is released to the public and application developers begin using it, it may be harder to change the value since any application developers with a custom policy name allowlist would now need to update their `next.config.js` headers to allow this new name.

The code was tested in a sample application to ensure it behaved as expected.

Rework <Link> behavior (backwards compatible) (#36436)
Fixes https://github.com/vercel/next.js/discussions/32233

⚠️ If you're looking at this PR please read the complete description including the part about incremental adoption.

## TLDR:

Official support for `<Link href="/about">About</Link>` / `<Link href="/about"><CustomComponent /></Link>` / `<Link href="/about"><strong>About</strong></Link>` where `<Link>` always renders `<a>` without edge cases where it doesn’t render `<a>`. You'll no longer have to put an empty `<a>` in `<Link>` with this enabled.

## Full context

### Changes to `<Link>`

- Added an `legacyBehavior` prop that defaults to `true` to preserve the defaults we have today, this will allow to run a codemod on existing codebases to move them to the version where `legacyBehavior` becomes `false` by default
- When using the new behavior `<Link>` always renders an `<a>` instead of having `React.cloneElement` and passing props onto a child element
- When using the new behavior props that can be passed to `<a>` can be passed to `<Link>`. Previously you could do something like `<Link href="/somewhere"><a target="_blank">Download</a></Link>` but with `<Link>` rendering `<a>` it now allows these props to be set on link. E.g. `<Link href="/somewhere" target="_blank"></Link>` / `<Link href="/somewhere" className="link"></Link>`

### Incremental Adoption / Codemod

The main reason we haven't made these changes before is that it breaks pretty much all Next.js apps, which is why I've been hesitant to make this change in the past. I've spent a bunch of time figuring out what the right approach is to rolling this out and ended up with an approach that requires existing apps to run a codemod that automatically opts their `<Link>` usage into the old behavior in order to keep the app functioning.

This codemod will auto-fix the usage where possible. For example:

- When you have `<Link href="/about"><a>About</a></Link>` it'll auto-fix to `<Link href="/about">About</Link>`
- When you have `<Link href="/about"><a onClick={() => console.log('clicked')}>About</a></Link>` it'll auto-fix to `<Link href="/about" onClick={() => console.log('clicked')}>About</Link>`
- For cases where auto-fixing can't be applied the `legacyBehavior` prop is added. When you have `<Link href="/about"><Component /></Link>` it'll transform to `<Link href="/about" legacyBehavior><Component /></Link>` so that your app keeps functioning using the old behavior for that particular link. It's then up to the dev to move that case out of the `legacyBehavior` prop.

**This default will be changed in Next.js 13, it does not affect existing apps in Next.js 12 unless opted in via `experimental.newLinkBehavior` and running the codemod.**

Some code samples of what changed:

```jsx
const CustomComponent = () => <strong>Hello</strong>
// Legacy behavior: `<a>` has to be nested otherwise it's excluded
// Renders: <a href="/about">About</a>. `<a>` has to be nested.
<Link href="/about">
  <a>About</a>
</Link>
// Renders: <strong onClick={nextLinkClickHandler}>Hello</strong>. No `<a>` is included.
<Link href="/about">
  <strong>Hello</strong>
</Link>
// Renders: <strong onClick={nextLinkClickHandler}>Hello</strong>. No `<a>` is included.
<Link href="/about">
  <CustomComponent />
</Link>
// --------------------------------------------------
// New behavior: `<Link>` always renders `<a>`
// Renders: <a href="/about">About</a>. `<a>` no longer has to be nested.
<Link href="/about">
  About
</Link>
// Renders: <a href="/about"><strong>Hello</strong></a>. `<a>` is included.
<Link href="/about">
  <strong>Hello</strong>
</Link>
// Renders: <a href="/about"><strong>Hello</strong></a>. `<a>` is included.
<Link href="/about">
  <CustomComponent />
</Link>
```

Fix next/image usage of onError() (#36305)
## History
In PR #35889, `onError` prop was added explicitly on the `Image` component, but it was ommitted from the `ImageElement` component. In result, the callback didn't work at all.

## Now
This PR deletes the `onError` prop from explicitly defined props. Explicitly adding `onError` on the `const imgElementArgs` is considered, but deleting the defined prop from `Image` is more reasonable because the prop isn't used in `Image` component.

Fix next/image usage in most cases of onLoad() (#36176)
Even though we never documented it, the `onLoad` prop used to work (in most cases) in Next.js 12.1.4 and broke in 12.1.5 once the code was refactored in PR #35889.

We still shouldn't document it because `onLoad` doesn't work in all cases so [`onLoadingComplete`](https://nextjs.org/docs/api-reference/next/image#onloadingcomplete) is preferred, however tests were added for the cases that do work.

Use cases that don't work with `onLoad` are Data URLs as well as `loading="eager"`.

Fix leaking internal config to user-defined loader prop in next/image (#36013)
The `config` was changed from a global variable to a function parameter of the `loader()` function in PR https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/33559 as an implementation detail, not as a public API. It was not meant to be used by the end user which is why it was [undocumented](https://nextjs.org/docs/api-reference/next/image#loader).

This config is meant for the default Image Optimization API. Since the `loader` prop bypasses the default Image Optimization API in favor of a custom function, that config is no longer be relevant because the function can implement the optimization url however it desires.

Fix Firefox flash of white on next/image with placeholder=blur (#35889)
## History

In PR #24153, `placeholder=blur` was added and it set `element.style.backgroundImage = 'none'` instead of using react state to re-render. Then in PR #25916, a delay was added to handle removing the blur placeholder. Then in PR #25994, `img.decode()` was utilized but we found this caused problems in Firefox in #26011.

## Today

This PR changes the the blur placeholder removal to use react state to re-render. This _should_ prevent Firefox from erroring although we should probably keep the catch() just in case. This was pointed out when React 18 caused subtle differences in Firefox in this comment https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/30128#issuecomment-1086754374

Introduced in #35344, the buffer might still keep flushing after on mount.

Make router able to navigate between rsc pages (#35344)
### Bugfix
Made some changes for the data register buffer flushing in #34631 and #34475 that tried to delete the buffer or flush them only once. But turns out it will break the navigation between RSC pages.

### Enhancements
Simplify the inline response writer and inline response data for the initial render. Since they're only for the initial render, navigations will leverage the serialized data fetched from router and construct the react tree.

Add new 'raw' image layout (#34339)
This PR adds a new layout mode for images called `raw`, as discussed with the core team a while back. This mode has the following characteristics:
 - No wrapper `span` around the `img` element
 - No sizer svg
 - Almost no styles automatically added to the `img` element
 - `style` parameter is allowed and is passed through to the underlying `img` element

This also adds documentation changes to describe the new component.

There are a few tradeoffs and DX decisions that may warrant discussion/revision before merging. I'll add a few comments to highlight those issues.

Adds web worker support to <Script /> using Partytown (#34244)
## Summary

This PR adds a new `worker` strategy to the `<Script />` component that automatically relocates and executes the script in a web worker.

```jsx
<Script
  strategy="worker"
  ...
/>
```

[Partytown](https://partytown.builder.io/) is used under the hood to provide this functionality.

## Behavior

- This will land as an experimental feature and will only work behind an opt-in flag in `next.config.js`:

  ```js
  experimental: {
    nextScriptWorkers: true
  }
  ```

- This setup use a similar approach to how ESLint and Typescript is used in Next.js by showing an error to the user to install the dependency locally themselves if they've enabled the experimental `nextScriptWorkers` flag.

  <img width="1068" alt="Screen Shot 2022-03-03 at 2 33 13 PM" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/12476932/156639227-42af5353-a2a6-4126-936e-269112809651.png">
- For Partytown to work, a number of static files must be served directly from the site (see [docs](https://partytown.builder.io/copy-library-files)). In this PR, these files are automatically copied to a `~partytown` directory in `.next/static` during `next build` and `next dev` if the `nextScriptWorkers` flag is set to true.

Split up & tweak next/client initialization (#33838)
For streaming, we want the main bundle to be loaded with `async` rather than `defer`. As the first step to doing that, we need an explicit initialization step, rather than occurring as a side effect of being loaded.

For now, I've just split the logic into a `initialization` and `hydrate` (previously `initNext`) functions and called them as a side effect of `next/client/next` and `next/client/next-dev` as before. A follow-up PR will move that to a separate script tag [as recommended](https://github.com/reactwg/react-18/discussions/114).

Add unstable_useFlushEffects hook (#34117)
Implements https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/30997 with some minor tweaks to the design:

* The hook is moved to Client Components (e.g. `pages/_app` instead of `pages/_document`). This was a silly oversight in the original design: the hook needs to be called during server prerendering.

* `useFlushEffects` instead of `useFlushEffect` as there isn't a particularly safe way to implement the singular semantics as a Client Component hook given the current implementation of server rendering.

Ensure we don't poll page in development when notFound: true is returned (#34352)

We should not keep fetching the page if it returns 404 as it can introduce unnecessary data requests.

Fix multiple calls to image onLoadingComplete() (#33474)
The image prop `onLoadingComplete()` was unexpectedly called multiple times because it uses a [callback ref](https://reactjs.org/docs/refs-and-the-dom.html#callback-refs).

This could lead to an infinite loop if `onLoadingComplete()` calls `setState()` as demonstrated in the updated test.

The solution is to handle refs with `useRef()` and `useEffect` so `onLoadingComplete()` is called at most once per component instance.

Fix style reset on image with placeholder=blur (#32680)
This PR is a follow up to PR #32623 to fix the remaining blur styles.

These are unlikely to be overridden by the user but this PR is necessary to make `placeholder=empty` (default behavior) and `placeholder=blur` end up with the same inline styles on the loaded image.

Fix server data cache key (#32506)
Currently we are using `location.href` which doesn't align with the other flight request's cache key (`pathname + search`). This fix unifies it.

Inline server data response with partial hydration (#32330)
This PR implements the basic inline embedded server response data (#30994) for RSC, as well as partial hydration (#31338) for RSC and React 18 SSR streaming.

For #30994, `renderTargetSuffix` is passed to the `bodyResult` resolver so the stream can inject corresponding hydration scripts and the closing body tag at the correct time. The expected behavior should be _prefix_, _body shell_, _suffix scripts_, _stream and inlined data_, _close body_.

For #31338, we have to force turn on `disableOptimizedLoading` when `concurrentFeatures` is enabled to opt-out of deferred script tags.

Skip warnings for Image not rendered to the dom (#32049)

Fix unhandled rejection on route change in dev (#31554)
This ensures we properly catch the rejection on route change failure in development so the dev overlay doesn't flash with the unhandled rejection. A test case isn't able to be added for this specific scenario as the unhandled rejection is fired right before the page is navigated so we can't consistently check if the rejection was unhandled or not.

Give priority to document.title over h1 when announcing page change (#31147)
## Improvement

This pull-request should address https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/24021, improving the page change announcement for assistive technologies by giving priority to `document.title` over `h1`. Interestingly, it would also improve a potential performance bottleneck by skipping calls to `innerText` on the main `h1` raised in [this comment](https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/20428#issuecomment-962537038).

Add config support for build activity indicator position (#30109)
When you edit your code, and Next.js is compiling the application, a compilation indicator appears in the bottom right corner of the page.

In some cases this indicator can be misplaced on the page, for example, when conflicting with a chat launcher. To change its position, open `next.config.js` and set the `buildActivityPosition` in the `devIndicators` object to `bottom-right` (default), `bottom-left`, `top-right` or `top-left`.

I also added the documentation for both `devIndicators.buildActivity` & the new `devIndicators.buildActivityPosition`.

Prevent inherited styles on next/image wrapper or sizer (#30064)
As a follow up to #30041 which changed `<div>` to `<span>`, this PR makes sure that unexpected styles are not applied to the image wrapper or sizer spans.

For example: `.content span {}` would apply to all spans and incorrectly style the image wrapper.

This PR adds [`all: initial`](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/all) to effectively reset the span styles.

Migrate server-sent events HMR connection to WebSocket (#29903)
This replaces the server-sent events HMR connection with a WebSocket connection to prevent hitting browser connection limits, allow sending events back from the browser, and overall better performance.

This approach sets up the the `upgrade` event listener on the server immediately when created via `next dev` and on the first request using `req.socket.server` when created via a custom server. In a follow-up PR we can push the files changed via the WebSocket as well.

Remove useless getComputedStyle call. (#27969)
See https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/6501 to see how I found this.

This line doesn't recompute layout in browsers, because `"height"` is given as a pseudo-element name rather than a property.

The right way to do what it wants is `getComputedStyle(document.body).height`, but given nobody noticed this (and this is generally never needed, manually triggering layout should never be needed to avoid FOUC) it seems better to keep current behavior and just remove the call.

Fix #11107 - don't prefetch preloaded modules (#22818)
This PR proposes a fix for https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/11107 (JS modules are loaded twice). A more detailed explanation of the investigation that led to this PR can be found in the issue's comments (https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/11107#issuecomment-791780168).

## Replicability

To identify that the issue replicates on any given project, you need to
1. look at the network tab (first/clean load of site, so preferably ⌘+⇧+R on an incognito tab),
2. sort by "name", and filter requests by `mime-type:application/javascript` (selecting "JS" in the devtools filters will actually show all "script" types, but ignore all "javascript" types)
3. look for pairs of identical calls with one originating from initial HTML (`preload` of priority "high" originating from "(index)" or "([page name])") and another one from a script (`prefetch` of priority "lowest" originating from a .js file), where neither of the files is served from the cache.

Here's a screenshot of an example of what to look for:
<img width="601" alt="Screen Shot 2021-03-07 at 09 59 18" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1325721/110234627-cf1c6d00-7f2b-11eb-9cd7-749bf881ba56.png">

The issue was reproduced easily on the following projects:
- On [nextjs.org](https://nextjs.org/) where duplicates add up to ~70kB of transferred javascript out of 470kB (14.9%).
- On [vercel.com](https://vercel.com/) where duplicates add up to ~105kB of transferred javascript out of 557kB (18.8%).
- On [tiktok.com](https://tiktok.com/en) where duplicates add up to ~514kB of transferred javascript out of 1556kB (33%).
- In my own project using `"next": "^10.0.1"` (private repo) where duplicates add up to about 5% of total transferred javascript.
- In the issue's comments, a developer reported a replication using `"^10.0.7"` on a [public repo](https://github.com/SidOfc/sidneyliebrand.io).

## Some information about the fix

- Both `preload` and `prefetch` values for `<link rel="x">` behave similarly, with the difference being in network priority level (preload is high priority, prefetch is lowest priority).

- Next.js uses `<link rel="preload">` in its initial HTML but then *only* uses `<link rel="prefetch">` for the rest of the lifetime of the page.

- However, when Next.js detects that a script should be requested in advance, it only checks for matching `<link rel="prefetch">` and not `<link rel="preload">` (which have higher priority and are present earlier in the DOM, thus have a greater likelihood of being already loaded).

This PR aims to fix that oversight.

## Potential issues (none AFAIK)

As far as I can tell by looking through the codebase, **there is no downside** not to add a `prefetch` when a `preload` is already in the DOM. No other script looks for a `<link>` based on its `rel` attribute.

Ensure timed out prefetches are cleaned up correctly (#28899)
This applies the fix from the awesome investigation done in https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/28797 by @jayphelps and adds a test to ensure this is working as expected. It seems that the `route-loader` has a race condition while prefetching and if a script is executed before we have created a current "future" entry to resolve the entry stays in a pending state causing routes to hang so this handles the condition by ensuring pending/errored entries do not stay around.

Fix html validation for Image component sizer (#27767)
According to [MDN](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Accessibility/ARIA/ARIA_Techniques/Using_the_aria-hidden_attribute#deciding_between_aria-hiddentrue_rolepresentation_and_rolenone):

- `aria-hidden="true"` will remove the entire element from the accessibility API.
- `role="presentation"` will remove the semantic meaning of an element while still exposing it to assistive technology.

We don't need both so we'll keep `aria-hidden="true"` since the element is used for sizing, not content that should be read.
