The HTML Living Standard explicitly says `href` should be omitted to prevent the loading of an incorrectly sized image: https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/semantics.html#attr-link-imagesrcset  Since it's in the spec, I assume this is valid-enough HTML.
